Backing up SSDs

Sorry for the newb question, but I am getting a new computer soon and thinking of using an SSD instead of a regular HDD. My question is: will this affect backing up files to an external regular HDD? Is there anything incompatible about backing up files from an SSD to an HDD? Will using an SSD affect sync storage programs like Time Machine?

Or do I simply use SSDs just like any other HDD. Just curious.

Simply use it like any other HD. Mine backs up to time Machine without issue.
