I frequently backup my iPhone to my Mac Desktop and every time I do it requires I enter my passcode to "trust this computer". Is there a way around this? Is there some obscure setting I can't find? I'd rather it just performed the backup automatically with zero input from me.

It is not a big inconvenience for me and I don't think there is a way around it but if you find one let us know.

Just so you know, trust this computer thing can’t be turned off. It’s there to keep things secure.

If you’re planning to sync it with a library or shared computer and only use their USB port to charge your iPhone, this feature is designed to protect against accidental data loss or transmission with a computer you don’t trust or own.
