Backing up Unlocked + Jailbroken iPhone 1

Hey guys, I just upgraded to an AT&T iPhone 4S from a T-Mobile unlocked + jailbroken iPhone 1, but I want to get my stuff off of my old phone.

The girl at the AT&T store said I can back up on iTunes and it's no problem, but I'm scared it's going to do something bad to my phone.

I plug in my iPhone 1 and I can hit the "Sync" button, but do I dare?

What will happen?

I need guidance!

dont hit sync hit right click backup

There is no BackUp option to right click though.

Right click on your phone's name in iTunes and there should be a Backup option.

Okay, so I backed up my iPhone 1, and plugged in my iPhone 4S and restored from the backup. It took 2 minutes and looked like it all went well, but then it said to leave it plugged into iTunes as it will still recognize it and my iPhone 4S restarted itself and is now frozen at some kind of loading bar.

It's been frozen here at the same loading point for the last 15 minutes, so I'm pretty sure it's frozen and not just taking a long time. What's going on?
