Backlight display problems

i literally bought my macbook pro 6 hours ago and it already has a problem

so i opened it up and turned it on and no screen came up...after a minute i realised the screen was very very dark but still there waiting to be set up...i managed to squint my way through that and restarted my computer but that didn't help....i can see the screen faintly but my backlight clearly doesn't work....is there anything i can do?

did u connect to Direct current?

yea i connected the current to the wall before i started the laptop

I think he meant the type of current, ie. DC or AC?

That was what I was thinking also, turn up the brightness the F2 key.

so it turns out the backlight was broken..i got a new one...that acctually works
