Backlit Keyboard Issues

I have the new 2.4 Macbook with the backlit keyboard. Sometimes the backlit does not turn on. I push F5 or F6 and the pop up pops up with a small cirlce at the bottom with a line through out. Seems like its disabled or something.

I believe that is when the ambient light sensor senses plenty of light in the room. It won't turn it on save battery. Take it into a dark room and try it out.

Anyway, check it out in various lighting conditions as the above said.

Alright thanks that might be the issue. I was just worried something was broken.
