I am looking for a good backpack for my Macbook Pro.
I am a college student who is looking for a simplistic looking backpack that has a laptop compartment.
    Any suggestions?

ANY decent backpack does just fine. No need to pay for overpriced
    "logo's" like North Face.

I recommend the VertiGo from WaterField Designs. www.sfbags.com

They are super high quality and stylish too. Also, a vertical design makes it feel lighter. Yeah, its not a full backpack but it works and its a good alternative.

find a backpack that you find comfortable, and buy a sleeve for your notebook.

Yeah, do this. My sleeve + backpack cost me $40 and served me well for 5 years.
