Hello.

I have a 250gb internal drive and a 250gb with files and I have 2 500gb to use Time Machine on. I am wondering how can I put to backup my internal to one 500gb and the external data drive to the other 500gb drive?

only turn one external on at a time, choose that as back up disk, then in time machine preferences > options choose which 250gb HD to exclude from the back up, repeat this swapping external 500gb drives and choose the other 250gb drive to exclude, just for example, ive chosen 3 drives to exclude below:
