I'm trying to find a good backup software that will allow me to sync to a network share. I have an NTFS RAID1 server that I want to sync my Mac to in real time. Meaning, it will sync between the volumes I have have on my Mac and the volumes on the server on the fly in both directions in real time. I found a couple of software that have mixed reviews and I wanted to know if anyone here has any recommendations or experience using these software or other similar ones on Yosemite. First on is an open-source project called FreeFileSync and the second one is a commercial one that is called "GoodSync Desktop for Mac." Thank you very much in advance!
http://www.econtechnologies.com/chronosync/overview.html Take a look at Chronosync. I don't use it myself, but I have seen other users on here that like it and it appears it would do what you are after.
Awesome! It looks like a solid software and it has most, if not all of the options I'm looking for. I'll definitely give it a try. Thanks!
