Backup button from iTunes disappear?

Hello guys,

As you can see in the screenshot below, my backup button has "mysteriously" disappeared. It disappeared when I updated my iPod Touch to the latest version; iOS 5. I hope the a Windows + iPhone guru, could help me to at least solve this problem.

As https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/849366/ says that it can be resolved by deleting the "iTunes.plist", however, I could find the file in Windows.
