Hi,

I just backed up my iphone, and now want to do a restore. The problem is that when I go to do a restore in Itunes it's not showing me the last date/time the iphone was backed up. I had just done a backup about 3 hours ago. And when I go to check the backup location I see a folder there with the time it was last backed up. But it's not showing me the backup date in Itunes. I don't know what to do.

This is where I checked for the backup of my iphone.
C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

Thank you.

im in the same boat as you

I have a jailbroken phone and for some reason it will not back up. i have tried multiple times. I dont know what to do. I have tried restaring the phone, plugging it back in etc. Nothing is working. Does anyone have any ideas?
Also im running vista and can not find where the iphone backup files are located?
Can anyone give me the pathway for vista?

i think i might have figured out part of the problem

apparently the pathway apple uses to save the back up files does not exsist in my vista computer. there is no C:/users/users name/appdata/apple computer/mobile sync
I have no appdata folder under my user name folder?!? where did it go, can i get it back?

ou regularly sync your iPhone with iTunes and updated your iPhone with which Mac followed by restoring your iPhone with iTunes with which Mac?
If you restored your iPhone with iTunes on the Mac that you regularly sync your iPhone with, your iPhone's backup should be available. When restoring an iPhone with iTunes, restoring from the most recent backup is the default selection. Selecting restore as a new iPhone must be manually selected unless there isn't a backup for the iPhone available.
When you go to iTunes > Preferences, under the Devices tab there is no iPhone backup available?

help!

Im not using a mac, im using a PC running vista, i have located the pathway to where the back up files are but they are not there. Itunes is simply not backing up my phone. Is this because of the jailbreak? No one else seems to have a problem backingup their JB phone.
