Hi, I am trying to backup some of my favorite dvds to my new MBP so that I can watch them and not have to carry around a bunch of disks..

But when I try to use the programs to "rip" I guess its called, I select the source and it just keeps loading and loading and nothin happends. I've used Handbreak and iSkysoft DvD Ripper

can anyone help me?

Am I just supposed to wait while it "Looks" like its working?

Thanks

Use Mac The Ripper first.

mac the ripper does the same thing.

says Disc RCE -Scanning-

and I let it do that but it just keeps scanning for a long time.

I just tried a diff dvd, and it detected it right away.

on the dvd disc I can see two folders, JACKET_P and VIDEO_TS
