i've lost the encryption password, and it has been a nightmare...

i have 45gb of data in my phone and i cant transfer it to my new phone.
i do the backup in itunes, but when i plug my new phone it ask me for the encryption password.

the only thing i think off is using icloud, but is taking ages to upload all my data, and i'm still not sure if the ***** encryption password will be transfered too...

what do you think i should do ?

I don't think you have any options. There's no work arounds to the encryption as that would represent a major security issue

i still have my old iphone... but i cant make another backup without the encryption...
i not sure why would be a major security issue... all passwords should have an option to recover.

Do an iCloud backup of the old phone and restore the new phone from that. It won't require the iTunes backup password. And yes, iCloud will probably be slow, but at least it will work.

Transfer your photos to your computer. Via image capture or Photos app (Assuming you have a Mac). Once you transfer you can delete them from the device. Then make your backup. Once you restore the backup on the new device you can sync your photos back via iTunes. They won't be located in camera roll anymore, so you will have to create a new folder but you will still have them back on your device.
