i backed up my iphoto in 2007 and now want to import the photos from these 10 disks. I'm not sure how to go about this.

I have an eMac with 10.3.9 OS

Thank you

What did you do to "back up" the iPhoto files?

Did you use a backup application?
If so, which one did you use?

Or did you just do a finder "drag n copy"?
If so, what folders did you copy?

As it was over 7 years ago I'm pushed to remember how I backed it up, but not being very hi tech I would have done it in the easiest way which to my mind would be by clicking on to a to hand back up system on the eMac.

Sorry about being so vague - put it done to the simplicity that is the Mac way. You tend to go for what is to hand

If this was your iPhoto library then it is just one file containing all your pictures. If so then you had to use some type of backup software to spread the one file across several discs (CDs or DVDs???) and probably not disks (HDs or floppies).

You will need whatever software you used to backup in order to restore the file to it's original format.
