Backup HD for 13"MBP

Hello All.

I need an external HD to backup a 500GB drive in a 13" MBP.

This will be for cloning, and will need to be bootable.

I'm not too fussy on either Firewire/USB/Thunderbolt. I do have good experience with Firewire, but might be interested in Thunderbolt drive....

Should be portable, and bus powered. Price is not a huge issue, but want good value for the money.

Also open to hd enclosure and drive combos if that is any better way to go.

Any input or recommendations appreciated.
