Backup Powerbook and restore to MacBook?

How exactly would one go about migrating from a Powerbook Pro Book? Can I just backup the PB and restore to the MB?
 
If you mean copy the entire HD and then copy it to the macbook then no. The mac os on your powerbook wont run on the macbook because it is the PPC version. But copying your data is fine.
