hey,

i am sorry if this was already answered elsewhere but i couldn't find it.

I have a MBP with the bad nvidia graphics chip. so i have no display or external monitor. other than that the computer works fine.

i can log on to my account but that is about it. i was wondering if there is someway to back up to my external drive without being able to see the screen.

Oh and btw i have 10.4, might make a difference because of no time capsule

thanks

-Robert

Take your hard drive out and either:
- put it into an external enclosure
- put it into another computer (mac)

That way you can easily access the data and take off whatever files you need.
