Tried to update to 10.5.2 today and about 20 minutes into the installation i got an error.. "Bad source" it prompted me to restart and now the computer won't boot. It just hangs on the grey screen. I've let it sit for almost an hour.

I've tried booting to install disc and repairing permissions but disk utility freezes every time. I've tried booting into target mode and doing the update from another machine which fails every time. I've also rebuilt the disk with diskwarrior and still can't get it to boot. Any ideas? anyone else heard of this bad source error???

I'd think you need to reinstall (archive and install would work best). But don't just take my word for it.

Wow, I can't believe I had to spend several hours re-installing today all because of a ****** software update..
