I just bought an iPhone 6s Plus and when I'm using it, I can only get 6 hours of usage and 10 hours of standby. I know that the phone is only 2 days old, but it's very poor. So is it gonna change after 1 week or should I just replace it now?

You haven't told us anything about your screen brightness settings, or what you are using such as youtube, movies, games, Facebook, Siri a lot, etc. No one can help you without knowing your usage habits

This is today's usage, and I didn't use YouTube before it was down to 30%
Screen brightness is 50% and I've nearly just used safari today

Signal strength can cause large variability in battery life when the bulk of your usage is data or voice things (as opposed to playing games, for example). Wifi or cell, how strong of a signal, etc... So it's hard for anyone to say if your phone is "normal", unfortunately.

My 6S plus running iOS 9.2 is amazing compared to the 6S I had before it, I got the 6S plus on Tuesday and I have just put it on charge now nearly 5 days after the first charge. I am a light user though... I activated low power mode when it got to 30% last night.

You tube or any video watching will hit the battery hard.

The only thing not showing is safari. I believe it was as 48%.

I think 6S Plus battery life is great. This is a Sammy chip too.

This is how it went down today, i reset all the settings, and it seems like it's working. I used safari nearly 5 hours straight today. So right now i'm not complaining

Looks somewhat normal for what you have done. How about giving it a few more days of use to see how it goes before you do a full restore.

I used safari nearly 5 hours straight today. But the difference is that, I have reset all the settings. And it seems like i'ts working pretty good now

There are certain things you can turn off to savee battery. Location services, reduce motion. Share my location. Look inside system services as well. By turning off some more features that you may not use, you could get better battery. With these optimizations i get 8-10 hours on my 6.

definitely not bad at all. your usage looks standard and even above average if you are off wifi. when apple quotes 10-12 hours that are not quoting the usage time here in battery stats. If you see other people getting significantly more on the boards it is usually the usage on the watch and it barely sips the phones battery life but it logs in the usage total but not in the individual apps. so it somes shows 15 hours usage and 40 he standby on one charge sometimes

Thanks for the answer. And yes it was because i have seen people getting much better usage time :) Right now i'm on 23 hours standby and 2 hours and 35 minutes usage. With 70% battery remaining

If you believe you have a dud bring it back to the store.

It's next to impossible to truelly compare battery life between two users.

First off two phones in two locations will have vastly differing radio reception for the cellular, wifi, and GPS radios. The phone with weaker signal will boost it's radio output to compensate. This will really burn through a battery.

Second, users will have set up their phones differently. From as simple as screen brightness, to a hundred possible settings which can be on or off. All this will alter battery consumption.

Third, with the millions of apps possible no two users will have the same apps, nor have them set the Same. In addition one user may close an app while another keeps it in back ground. Not to mention that some apps have been designed to keep running, sending and receiving data in background regardless of how the user sets them.
Couple this with different reception levels and one person's FaceTime could burn way more battery than another person also with same FaceTime app.

While it is fun to compare battery life with other users. We should keep in mind that a few hours plus or minus is not an issue.
