Guess the one I bought for $20 was a great deal!

I have two desktops, but in my experience the minitower is quite a bit harder to find.

I think you did alright for $20 :)

Of course, I don't think there's actually much difference between the two, as they actually use the same logic board. The minitower just gives you a little more upgrade space and also lets you use full-height RAM sticks.

iMac with Windows 7!

Found this gem on the Wichita CL. I'm not sure if this is the G5 iSight, or an Intel. Regardless, the seller says it comes with Windows 7!

I love this thread. I wonder what would happen if the people selling the items found this thread?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-Power...823?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e9a64cb6f

800Mhz PowerBook G4 - $339.00 BUT free shipping

You will have to get a new left side hinge to fix the problem. When I bought this computer, I bought it with the broken hinge. I never got around to fixing it. I just used duct tape to keep it together. I have taken off the tape for photo purposes. It is missing two rubber feet on the bottom and the battery charges to 100%, but it does not last very long.
- Broken Hinge
- Screwed Up LCD Housing
- Broken Charger
- Scratches Galore
- "Copies" of the install discs that I am sure don't boot
- A battery that doesn't work

$339

This is for serious buyers only please.

Edit----

From the same buyer, an HP Deskjet 656C (produced in 2001)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/131439302067

For sale is an HP Deskjet 656c inkjet printer. I have used it in the past flawlessly, however, I have bought a new printer since, so I do not have the ink cartridges on hand to know if it still prints. I have plugged it up and it does power on. I am assuming that since it does power on that it will print once it has ink and it is connected to a computer. I must reiterate that I ASSUME that it will print. Without ink cartridges to test it, I do not know for sure. This is why I have listed in in the "Parts/Not Working" category. Buy at your own risk.
- Not sure if it works but it turns on
- No ink cartridges
- Starting bid $39.99, Buy It Now for $51.99

If he just bought a new printer he should know one can be had for $50 with ink and probably can connect with something other than a Parallel port.

Rest assured because all his items..
comes from a pet-free and smoke-free environment and has been well taken care of.

I have just unlocked a whole side of eBay here of overpriced tech garbage. Does it cost money to post on eBay or just if it sells? ...Otherwise these people would be losing so much money. This same chababi is also selling a gross used George Forman grill for $75. You can buy a new one at Target for $35. Who buys this stuff?

One Original Macintosh 3.5 "System Tools" Ver. 5.5 It Works! One Macintosh original 1988 Utilities Users Guide. No writing inside. The internal 3.5 floppy drive seems to accept and eject disks but does NOT read them. I have not done any cleaning to the drive. Looking for $150.00 but you may make offer, or even money trade. call or email to the info above. All in good working order with the external drive reads perfect. Using the external drive it boots up as it normally did back in 1987. Thanks for getting this far, Mac head FESsr.

If the 17" was bought 2 years ago, it's almost certainly the last generation 17". I'd say it's worth $990 to the right person.

As for the Plus-if the plastic is as good as it looks in the pictures, $150 isn't exactly out of line

My 512ke came with a printer, keyboard, mouse, 3 cases of disks, case, Microsoft MacEnhancer, and system fan, and the computer was in great condition for $120.

Rhode island seems to be full of great deals on used apple equipment. My parents have a summer place down there, this summer if/when I go down I'll be sure to snag some of these killer dealers. I saw that $500 G5 ad a while back and assumed it was $500 for both haha. People are nuts.

Here's a 400mhz G5 for $140 (without monitor, that'll cost you another $35)

I started looking the other day for a later-model PowerMac G4 since I want an OS 9 native machine as well as something I can run the pre-10.5 OS X models on... have to say I was surprised to see MDD's going for $150 and up (plus something like $40-70 for shipping.)

If only the stupid FW800 models could boot into OS 9... they seem like they're the most common. And the prices people were asking for Quicksilvers is steep. I'm better off getting an early MDD and making the fan swap on my own if it's a Windtunnel model.

If I had the room, the money, and could shut down the part of my brain that usually rejects clutter, I guess I would love to have a type specimen of each of the Macs I've had—I had one of those, 233MHz, with a screaming-fast 28Kbps modem and 128MB of RAM. My StarCraft machine! :)

I have a MDD 2003, single 1.25 G4 and 2 GB of RAM. It has the updated fans, so it's quieter than the earlier models. No real plans to sell it, but if you're interested...

Thanks for the offer, but I already went ahead and bought a DP 867MHz off eBay for $110 plus shipping. If I need to I can always swap the fans in it myself—sounds like it might be a bit of surgery but hopefully nothing too difficult.
