The battery life on my iPhone 8 just seems poor?

That’s about average for the 8. Plus, your usage shows you didn’t have a signal at one point. That will negatively affect battery life as well.

We also don’t know all of your usage but those results look to be normal.

Based on actual usage stats (not standby) (but including background usage):

X should be like up to 1-2 hrs over 8 I’d guess.

8+ should be like up to 2 hrs over X I’d guess.

Your battery life looks normal to me for the 8. I updated my 8 to iOS 11.4.1 and so far the battery life seems better when I'm not using the phone, the battery settings doesn't indicate the usage and standby time to be almost the same, despite not using the 8. Before iOS 11.4.1, my usage and standby time is almost the same even on days when I don't use it.

But I'll see over the next few days to see if it stays this way.

I just updated my X to the 11.4.1 and my battery life is almost half of what it was before the update. Right now I would be lucky to get 3 hours for 100% use, if that. Anybody else have this issue with the update?

Just did hard reset, no improvement.
