Bad Bug in iOS 14.5 effecting bluetooth audio handoff?

I noticed that after upgrading to 14.5, there is a several second delay in handing off audio from one bluetooth device to another.

Example - listening on airpods pro and get into my car.

The bluetooth in the car proclaims that the iphone is paired. The audio on the airpods stops and the audio is technically handed over to the car bluetooth.

The audio is playing, you can see the counter ticking but there is no actual sound for several seconds, up to five fill seconds.

This happens with any two bluetooth devices when switching.

Anyone else notice this?

I just, 20 minutes ago had to waste time getting my AirPod pros to work. I am on 14.5 and a XS MAX.

So I updated. It seems a little better but is not the same as before 14.5.
That is a shame.
