Bad email address

I have a incorrect email address in one of my accounts. It does not appear on computer - only on iPad. How can I delete?? Thanks.

Where about on your iPad are we talking about? The one linked with your iTunes account? Or another app?

It is a Yahoo mail account. The bad address is on the IPad and not on the Yahoo account on the home computer. I do not see away to delete the bad (typo) address.

Anyway, on your iPad, open contacts app. Select the contact you want to edit. There is an edit button at the bottom. Tap it, and you can delete the bad address.

Try going to settings/mail/click on the account name/delete account

It is not 3rd Party APP. Just yahoo.mail synced with iPad.

No Windows. I went to the contact and I had the CORRECT address.
I think I may have just typed in a bad address and it was saved on the iPad somehow.

-Settings
-mail, contacts, calendars
-select the yahoo account that is incorrect and then delete or edit(if you can, i can't remember)
-then add it back if you can't edit it already.

***edit: it looks like you should be able to edit your mail settings in there as well, so no need to delete.
