So I pull out my iPod Nano today and find that I have a large black 'sunspot' on the right hand side of the screen...I am like, 'crap'. So I go and look up my purchase date and alas it was Sept. 10th, 2005...so I am 3 days out of warranty...I figure I will give it a try so I call and after waiting 305 minutes I get someone just to let me know that I am SOL by 3 days and there is really nothing that they can do...that is unlucky for sure...

Anyone know what I can do with a dead screen Nano? Is it basically landfill at this point?

I'm sure Apple will replace it for you🙂

A friend of mine's shuffle broke a week after the warranty had ended, and they replaced it🙂

request to speak to cust. relations and explain how upset you are 🙂 Usually cust. relations is really really nice.

Thanks to your responses, I called back and now have a case number and a meeting at the local apple store - I am keeping my fingers crossed...
