Bad start with USB 3.0 on new MBA

Just to follow up on my post, this wasn't a compatibility problem with the USB3 port. I was able to get my device to work by connecting it to a powered USB hub. Hopefully that might work for some of you guys using music devices, etc.

Consistent with the theory that Lexar shared with me - anyone know of a powered USB 3.0 hub that runs on batteries?

I've got a Hoodman USB 3.0 card reader, and it's working great on my new Air.

I had a bad start with USB 3 on my 11" MBA too. I'm not sure our problems are related though since mine only show when I use a USB 3 hub. My guess is it's not that the MBA is broken, but it's an issue with Apple's USB 3 driver so I posted it in the peripherals area.

I dont have a 2012 mac. But several usb 3 devices at work simply dont function on PCs sometimes. USB3 seems to have issues.
