Bad time to buy a Crucial M4 SSD?

Has there been any rumours about a successor to the M4, as it has been out a fair while now which makes me hesitant on buying it. Would now be a bad time to buy one? Any advice would be appreciated 😛

I've been watching prices creep downward and finally pulled the trigger last week. It was a very worthwhile shot in the arm to my aging '09 MBP.

If it can wait then I would suggest sitting back and paying attention to releases and what not.
