Sup Everyone,

I got the macbook pro the 2007/08 model i had a bad problem of video lag and defects on the video whilst watching movies etc...

i got the logic board replaced by apple which was under warranty to replace the nvidia card.

im still having the same problem of lag... whilst watching youtube, iplayer or any movie on the laptop....

any suggestions to what could be causing this?

Thanks

Have a look at Activity Monitor (Applications / Utilities /) and select All Processes and sort by CPU to see what the culprit may be.
Also check the "System Memory" tab to see what your "Page ins:", "Page outs:" and "Swap used:" are.

image below uses sorting by CPU as an example
