I'm looking for a slim, lightweight bag for iPad pro with a somewhat premium design/materials. Although I have an 11", I want it to also fit some sheets of letter size paper, which should be exactly the same size as the new 12.9". I also want it to have a handle for carrying. Something like

except that one does not have a handle. I have not been able to find anything through Google search. Any suggestions?

I got this one from TomToc for my 11” ipad pro. Love it. Not only does it have a main padded pouch for the ipad, it has a smaller front pocket for accessories...Yet still has a very slim profile. It also has a handle as well as a detachable shoulder strap that is a very nice option. I got it on amazon for about $30.

I have that case for my 11" and use it with the strap. It's a great case - nice looking, good protection and has a back compartment for carrying accessories. I like the bottom loop that makes removing the iPad from the case easy without putting pressure on it.

I just ordered a 'knock off' generic case on amazon, any "10 inch laptop" case fits the iPad Pro 11 with Smart Keyboard perfectly and even leaves a small amount of room for the pencil too. I ordered it as a temporary case while I debate on which real one to get, such as Harber London or another real leather brand.

I have noticed this trend lately of fakes and real cases with wool and leather hybrids. It's so common it pushes me away from buying one. And the fakes look nearly as good as the high end ones too.

Yes, essentially I want something like these sleeves, but with a handle (not a shoulder strap).

I do in fact already have a perfect sized bag with a handle, so they do exist. But it looks, feels, and IS very cheap.

I have done Google search, and have found nothing. It seems people don't like handles. I see a lot of product pictures of people holding an iPad sleeve in their hand, under their arm. But then the hand is gone! You cannot use the hand for anything else. With a handle, you can hold the iPad while opening a door, a car door, holding another bag, etc. So, I don't get why handles are not more popular.

Would a detachable shoulder strap be acceptable?

Someone had asked about the Nutsac Satchel Pro, https://nutsac.com/products/satchel-pro, over in the accessories forum. I bought one for my Surface Pro a few years ago but now use it for my 12.9: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/bag-for-macbook-pro-and-ipad-pro.2064401/page-2#post-26818936

The shoulder strap can be detached allowing it to be carried purely briefcase style. Even with the shoulder strap I routinely grab it by the handle because it’s so convenient.

It has zippers for the main and front pockets and the flap has both magnetic closure and a leather and pin closure. So it should be plenty secure carrying it with just the top handle. Honestly because the handle is set to the back, the weight goes right up the back to the handle. Even without the zipper and leather strap secured the magnets keep it closed.

It’s expensive, but is hasn’t shown any real wear in 3 years as my daily carry bag so it was worth it to me.

That does indeed look nice. But, yes I'm picky, it looks a little too big for my taste. I already have a laptop bag for when I bring my laptop and all my papers. I want a very simple bag for when I only bring my iPad and perhaps a few sheets of paper. Still, this might be an option.
