Bahamas Electrical Socket & MBP

I will be traveling to the bahamas tommorow. Was wondering if I should have anything to worry about in terms of the electrical socket.

I believe the power adapter for my MBP will fit, but I'm not sure of the specifics in terms of voltage.

Is it safe to plug the standard MBP power adapter (purchased in US) into their electrical socket?

Yes. The Apple adapters are rated from 100-240 V / 50-60 Hz AC...which basically means you can plug it into virtually any socket in the world with the proper plug adapter.

The electricity is standard US, 120 volt AC, 60 hz. American appliances will work just fine.
