Any one know how to ban a particular poster so that you just do not have to read or even better see their posts? Thanks...

You can't 'ban' someone unless you're a Mod, but if you go into a member's profile there's an option in there to add them to your Ignore List. Once they're on there, it'll blank out their posts.

You can't ban someone yourself, they have to break some of the rules here in order for the mods to warrant banning them completely but you can use the ignore feature in your User CP which makes their posts hidden.

Edit: Beaten dammit.

Just remember that if you think they break the rules, then use the post report button (

) to report the offending post(s), and there's a chance they actually do get banned... 😉

Thank you

Thank you, do not want to ban the individual from the forums ... I just did not want to read his/her negative Mac jibes... so your help is appreciated ... I got the job done.

Again, thanks to you all... Van
