Windows 95 was still heavily based on DOS. It wasn't actually until XP that Windows wasn't tied so tightly into DOS. *cringe*

A fairly large difference in time. :)

Well then, make that a huge difference in time then. :D

I love how both sites don't look like they have been updated in years... I guess they like Macs now!:D

They each compare PowerPCs to Intel Pentium/Celeron processors, too bad for them that Macs run on Intel Core processors now.

Oh, and the "Compatibility" page is great. MS Office files get messed up sometimes when they're transferred to a Windows PC! Oh no! At least Macs can read disks formatted in Windows.

These sites don't bother me at all though. I'm more satisfied with my Mac mini than I ever was with a Windows PC (which I used from age 2 to age 15). My little brother is all hyped up on this "Destroy Windows!" thing. But I keep reminding him that Apple's competition from Microsoft is what keeps them improving OS X and their hardware.

He says: "This is your opportunity to make your voice heard. All kinds of feedback is welcome. If you're lucky you'll even get posted on this page. Isn't that great?":p :D

I actually don't oppose Windows that much. I love helping people out having trouble with their win cans. Just by looking at my mac, most realize, they should get a mac.:D

that just made me laugh. a lot. wow. somebody has too much time to play with photoshop!

Some people are just, for a lack of a better word, "unconvertable."
Take solace in the fact that in a while, they will be hit by a virus/spyware/poor quality computer/bad OS (oh wait they already have those last two!) :D

I think it was Windows NT (even thought NT came after 95? during 95? before 95? I think it was the first one) or 2000, can't remember, XP is a super-set of Windows 2000. - in so to speak terms. I just want to get the facts straight here.

i believe you are mostly right, but when you say 'NT,' you mean 'NT 3.0' i'm not totally posisive about that one, so I'll have to check.
