band swaps - at Apple Stores on launch day

Why not? Seems like a good idea to me. No risk, no fuss.
Is there a way we can organise this. Obviously I'm thinking about the sports bands (which come packaged with two) and particularly those who want to purchase a silver sports face but want a black band (without spending extra on a separate black band or settling for an ostentatious band colour)

I was talking in general , not offering my specific future band for swap. Was merely suggesting a way all interested in swapping could congregate at an Apple Store to do so.

Anecdotal evidence (unless Apple has made a HUGE mistake by leaving of sizing info on the Pin connector strap) says the Sport will be a 3 piece band, so there nothing to swap.

It would need to be posted in the Marketplace forum using a Feeler prefix because you can't list items for sale or trade which you don't physically possess.

Unfortunately, as soon as you start a thread like this members will start offering or requesting specific bands which takes it into Marketplace territory.

You might want to hold off on the band swap until 1) you know you want to keep the watch and 2) you know it's working properly. If you swap band then decide a day later you want a different style, size, or just don't like the watch you are SOL.

This is everyday at the Apple Store now. If I need help, I do not go without an appointment.

If there are actually two full sets of bands in the box, you'd have to be extremely foolish to swap out before the 14-day return period.
