Bands Available before Launch Day?

Has there been any news as to whether the bands will be for sale prior to launch? Thinking of how the dates are I think it would be ideal for Apple to have the bands available to purchase on April 10th so people stock up on bands and make impulsive purchases due to how a watch/band combo looked on their arm prior to the big launch day.

There is no chance of that happening because the average consumer is going be extremely confused when they see Apple Watch bands on display available for purchase but can't buy the actual watch yet.

That would be nice. It would be smart for Apple to implement or capitalize on this if they can make the bands quicker and distribute to the stores for purchase & displays.

On the iMore show, they said that the bands would be avaliable a few weeks after launch, so I guess we'll see them sometime in May.

'The bands are here now, Apple Watch coming 04/24/2015!' at the entrances and where the bands are displayed. Non-issue solved. Everyone is happy including Apple's cash registers.

I bought an Apple iPhone bumper (for the iPhone 4??? I forget) at the Apple Store a few days before the iPhone was released. I wanted to make sure the color I wanted was available. Good thing, because it sold out when I picked up my phone.

So it's happened before.

I thought there were cases available for quite a few iPhones before launch. It would give them an exclusive... Not that they're hurting for cash!

For people possibly stretching financially on this purchase it makes a ton of sense, to me at least, for people to buy 1-2 bands for $225 and then come back two weeks later and pick up a watch too. Gives Apple another $200 plus which they are making on ton on. Money maker is the gold watch and the bands with this launch.

Probably a headache if they had bands prior as people may not get the watch they intended due to constraints. Plus, it will allow them to sell more. They will beat most third party bands still.

That makes absolutely zero sense. Apple wants to take advantage of impulse purchases inside their stores on April 24. The bands will definitely be available alongside the watch. iMore is wrong.

I think there is zero chance of the watch bands or even extra magnet charging cables being available before the launch of the watch unless they are third party ones. That said we are not likely to see third party magnet charging cables anytime soon if at all. As far as I recall Apple is not known for making official accessories available before the actual product launch.

I wouldn't be surprised if additional bands start popping up before launch day. The same happened with Apple's iPhone cases as they were shipped separately from iPhone orders (even if ordered concurrently).
