Can you wear the sport loop 24/7? Any reason not to?
Currently I am wearing a sport loop 24/7 only taking it off to shower and charge. No problems here. The leather loop sometimes gave me a rash after a while.

The focus of the Apple Sleep app is to get people into a routine of going to bed at a regular time every evening, and winding down before bed, instead of continuing to use computers, iPads and iPhones, which can hinder sleep later on etc. The app isn’t meant to provide detailed analysis of sleep. If you want detailed analysis, you can run AutoSleep in conjunction with the Sleep App. AutoSleep does not provide it’s own data. It uses the same data provided to other third party sleep apps, as well as the stock Sleep app.

Hi Basic,

Yup, good point.

Apple Hardward provides the sensors, the 3rd party apps to Does the fancy graphs :)

Anything will work fine, but the sport loop, braided loop and possibly milanese bands are probably the most comfortable.

I always wear a Nike sport band to sleep, love the holes for breathability.

I have an Apple watch on except when showering and wear it on my right wrist when sleeping and left when awake. This gets rid of any discomfort from having it on the same wrist 24/7.

I do the same, other way around though as I‘m left handed

Does this not affect sleep tracking or anything? I thought the watch was calibrated to be on a specific wrist with a specific orientation.

Sounds like a great idea though!

Hi F,

Not sure actually, never thought about it

I suppose the idea is to look for changes from the baseline, so as long as you keep the watch on the Same wrist each time you go too sleep, then no problems :)

Never thought about that either, I have 4 watches (S3 to S6) active right now and mix and match, I haven’t noticed anything different in the readings***. I just change the orientation in the settings when I change wrists.

***Except resting calories with the latest OS, that is totally screwed up for all my watches now.
