Only if you have three totally different Britney Spears MegaMixes, the shortest one being twelve minutes.

It is so nice to hear that I am not the first one to have one of these.

Anyway I mentioned Jamiroquai to one of my "music obsessed" friends and they nearly lost their lunch. I still think he's good.

Jamiroquai is awesome; the fact that their music is so upbeat (danceable?) papers over the fact that they're technically great musicians.

I. love. MUSICALS!!!
I have Rent (the movie one.. now THAT'S embarrassing), Grease, West Side Story (movie AND broadway), Fame, Kismet, and this AWESOME opera by Shostakovich.

I just bought the Rent movie soundtrack the other day *sigh*...I also have Grease, Mamma Mia!, Le Cage Au Folles, Showboat, the Music Man, Phantom of the Opera, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and couple more that I can't think of at the moment.

I have hundreds of CDs though, so it's not like musicals make up the bulk of my collection.

I'm utterly suprised someone hasnt mentioned that they had The Pussycat Dolls in their collection and they are ashamed of it! Their one song sounds like something that would be played in a strip club, kinda like a less catchy Nasty Girl which was of course a one hit wonder by Vanity 6.

I kinda see the Pussycat Dolls like an American version of the Spice Girls.... either way i wouldnt want them in my collection... :p

Number one of the bands I'm ashamed to admit I like: ABBA. Of course they're a complete waste of time, but if you've got warm blood in your veins, who could really hate them?

I like The Pussycat Dolls, Sugababes, Girls Aloud and Spice Girls and I'm not ashamed to have them in my iTunes library.

But even I have standards, so no Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera for me. :D

I have Extreme's "More than Words" in my iTunes (and on the 'Pod). I probably should be ashamed to admit that I like that song, but it is really is a beautiful song if you just completely disregard the lyrics and what it is that the song is about.

On one of our recent trips to New York, we went to see Mamma Mia! (the musical based on Abba's music). That may well be some of the most fun I've had in a long time, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. ;)

I seriously think some people think it's cool to listen to really obscure non-mainstream music. There's some truly great undiscovered music out there, but also a disproportionately high number of truly awful obscure tunes as well. I'd say it's a 1:9 ratio.

Recently, I heard a sort of remix of this song on the radio, that had a hip-hop beat, and I think also verses in rap. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It was actually very smooth. :)

There's a Frankie J version on iTunes, but I don't think that's what I had in mind...what I heard on the radio, I thought, had a drum line. And definitely rapping. :(

Rammstein.

I really should have got over them when I turned thirteen...
Why? Rammstein are brillaint, more so if you ever get to see them in live. What is it that you "should have gotten over"?

Stuff that I put there (there's a load of Nirvana and Pearl Jam that a friend put on) would probably be Cradle of Filth and Metallica, with the occaisional Marilyn Manson (those stupid catchy riffs )
