I'm looking for an app that will shut off my bandwidth after it exceeds a certain daily level (In my case 2 gigs upload and download totaled per day). I'd like it to automatically close the connection after a certain amount of bandwidth has been used in a daily period, and if possible reopen it on the following day. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I've been kicked off the network several times so far, and would like to avoid it happening again. School bandwidth limits are a bitch.

does your school have al ive monitor? mine does and our limit is only 750 MB ... either that or just download less stuff or stop using torrents. I don't know of any software that does this and if your downloading 2GB of stuff then it can't be legal.

A) Stop download lots of pr0n movies and warez ;) <or>
B) Fire up Activity Monitor and go to the Network tab. There you will see a total of your network up/down data transers.
