Anyone know of an app or utility that shows the current real-time download speed? I am trying to see what diagnose a buffering issue while streaming video using Air Video and want to see the data rate I am getting. I tried "Data Counter" in Cydia but it seems to show wildly incorrect data.

Speedtest.net that is the app name in the app store checks 3g and Wifi speeds.

thanks, though I meant that I am looking for a bandwidth meter that runs in the background and tells me the current network speed real-time. This will be used to measure the upload/download data speed I am experiencing in the streaming app currently running.

cant you clear the counter and use the one built into the iphone already ?

I don't want the total amount of data transferred, just the current real-time transfer rate (mB/s).

Totally get what you are looking for, however I haven't seen anything like that in Cydia yet. I envision a meter that could run in the notifications area (top band) of screen next to the time. I would pay for that myself!
