UPS delivered my new MacBook Pro yesterday and the delivery box was pretty messed up. Opened it up and even the MacBook’s retail box was dented in the corner. Seems like UPS tossed this around pretty bad during transit. I mean it had to have dropped directly on the corner pretty hard to crush the outside box AND the retail box.

The MacBook looks fine with no physical damage to the eye. But should I be worried that kind of handling could’ve damaged the machine in anyway?

Thanks!
I am surprised they didn't double box it.

I changed my MacBook Pro 16" and bought 16" Max from local store and at home I found out this...

Should I return?

These macs are built like a brick out house. The white box is very protective. You have nothing to worry about.

Box is damaged from the other side than sits laptop. So it SHOULD be okay. And this macbook was shipped with only 2 battery cycle what I like :)

But I think someone had to smack this macbook pretty well to make such corner damaged and this worries me.

If I want to sell it later the buyer can have problemms with it as well.
So I do not know ??‍♂️

The seller in Apple premium shop told me that the box probably did not get a hit but was put on metal shelter between another boxes and the corner get damage during inserting.

I am referring to the standard warranty - not Apple Care.
Ok…yes…i misunderstood...my apologies. So the 1 year warranty is not up to standards of other companies? You expect a better warranty at the start? maybe for the costs you are right.
