You're saying Wells Fargo isn't a bank that got too large and then suffered because of it? Wells Fargo is exactly like Bank of America. They are both very large banks. A smaller bank would be something like Compass Bank, US Bank, or any other smaller bank that is only in a certain city/state/region.

Banks are evil tools of financial enslavement.

Bank of America is particularly evil because they give accounts to illegal aliens, oh and now credit cards and home loans too.

But, I have BofA because they make my business run smoother. Their online banking is way better than Wamu or Fargo. And generally the people I deal with on the phone are knowledgeable.

I still fail to see how this is evil.

How would you like if an undocumented immigrant stole your social security number to open a bank account or a credit card because they were unable to do so because of their status?

Plus, these B of A credit cards for the illegal immigrants are different than credit cards for me or you.

The customer has to have had a checking account with Bank of America for at least three months, they have to pay a deposit for the credit card, and it has much higher interest rates than a normal credit card.

I'd much rather it be this way than my credit history getting ****ing up again, or me walking into a bank to open an account to find that my social security number was used to open an account at that bank again.

My feeling is that it further rewards people for doing illegal actions. Or have you forgotten that it is illegal to enter this country without formal permission for the purpose of business and/or permanent residence?

I'm against a lot of the "benefits" that these people get, mainly because we are rewarding a particular group of people for basically doing something that is illegal.

Credit is a privilege not a right just as driving is, and neither of them should be had by people that have already shown their lack credibility by illegally entering this country.

I see where you're coming from, but they are going to get credit cards and bank accounts no matter what. Better to have it in their name than in yours or mine, or someone else who worked hard to achieve a good credit score and financial stability.
