I'll have to further test this but it gives me that impression as well. Then again the app in question uses a actionable banner.

Silly question, but are you positive you're using banner style and not alert? They look very similar if not identical now in iOS 10.

Banner style notifications go away on their own for my devices in all versions of iOS 10 beta.

i can confirm i have the same problem in pb 3 this wasn't a problem on pb 1 or 2

I too can confirm that it doesn't go away unless I tell it to.

They seem to hang around for an unwelcome long time - but do eventually go away.
