Barclay Apple Rewards card doubles the warranty period

For the people that have a Barclay Apple Rewards card, one of the benefits of using that card to purchase your new phone is it doubles the warranty period -

Extended Warranty Protection doubles the time period of the original manufacturer’s written U..SS.. repair warranty up to one additional year on eligible warranties of three years or less for items purchased entirely with your eligible Visa card. This benefit is limited to no more than the original price of the purchased item shown on your Visa card receipt less shipping and handling fees, up to a maximum of ten thousand dollars per claim and fifty thousand dollars per cardholder.

I don't see a thing on there about a warranty extension.

Now, my Chase Ink Business Preferred card on the other hand.. THAT offers all sorts of benefits
