I was just wondering how the Barclays pre order financing works for the release of a new iPhone ? I’m guessing you can get the finance pre authorised before they start to take pre orders as it’s fair to say filling in those forms would be a nightmare the moment they open up the pre orders as it can take some time!

Just wanted to know when it’s possible to fill in the application ?

Thanks

I could be completely wrong, but I imagine if it’s the Barclays 0% on the online store, then not until released as it’s part of the checkout? I picked up a new iPhone recently actually and used Barclays for it, the application only took like a few minutes to do.

I was able to get finance approved as part of my pre-pre order last year on the evening of the keynote. Did have some checkout issues on the Friday though but that’s a different story.

I got accepted on the 13 Pro for the Barclays finance and then come check out time for the pre orders it wouldn’t work properly so I just bought it outright. Haven’t bothered since! Seems people are still experiencing checkout issues which suggests they’ve not changed anything and if pre-ordering be prepared for a possible delay or having your order slip back in terms of shipping dates.
