BareFeats iMac benchmarks - looks good

BareFeats have just published their tests of the new iMac - it shows slightly faster (as expected) CPU benchmarks http://www.barefeats.com/im21.html but considerably better graphics performance http://www.barefeats.com/im21b.html (e.g. 50% better FPS in Doom 3) than the old 20" iMac. And even beats the dual 2.0 GHz PowerMac in a couple of the graphics tests.

And what's more, they say the HD temperature never went above 50 Celsius (130 F) - compared to 89 Celsius (192 F) in the old iMac http://www.barefeats.com/heatsink.html

Those graphics benchmarks make me sad, as I will get 2 GHz iMac next week, but its so much slower in games that the new 2.1 Ghz. Anyway R9600 is is still MUCH faster than my GeForce2 😀
