Got both my Milanese Loop and Black Classic buckle from CEX - both with plastic still on them and seemingly unused. Great value!! There was one Saddle Brown Classic Buckle and I hesitated to buy and lost out, same with a link bracelet. Patiently waiting for both to appear so I can purchase.

I ordered the Link Bracelet and a Black Sports band with Space Grey pin from CEX yesterday, hopefully they'll be dispatched later tomorrow. (And wow, the 42mm bands are pretty much all in stock, but the 38mm are hard to find on their site ;o holy cow...how popular is the 38?!)

Can't wait for them to arrive though! :D

The problem I find with CEX, is that once they go out of stock they won't appear for a while. I've been waiting for a navy leather loop in medium grade A to come back in stock for the last couple of months.

That's the trade off for getting the items cheap! Got to keep checking most days. Just missed the 38mm Link Bracelet as I couldn't find my vouchers to use against the value- when I did find them the item was sold. (20mins later)

Damn, that's just unlucky. Ordered a Milanese Loop a couple of days ago, should be turning up today. Another bargain at £45.

Nice!! I'm currently Looking out for one of them on cex atm, also would like the midnight blue leather loop!!

Yeah I like it. Think it'll only get used for smarter attire.

I want a Midnight leather loop as well, but they don't have a 42mm grade A in medium in stock at the moment. I like having the plastic boxes which comes with the straps, most of the grade B's don't.

What's the deal with CEX? Are they the closest thing to Apple-quality or something?
Cex is a shop where you can sell or buy second hand electrical products, games and accessories etc! and lately there have been brand new genuine Apple Watch bands/straps sold for more than half the price at Apple. Alot of these have Not been opened, or in mint condition and some used condition.

Have to say reading about the pricing unless they are refurbed or seconds in quality, has me wondering if they are off the back of a truck. Something doesn't sound right.

CEX has been around for years with hundreds of shops around the UK. All their stock is bought in my customers, it's checked then tested if needed before they give you any money. You have to be a member to sell anything to them with a couple of forms of ID, everything you sell to them is linked to your membership number just in case of any issues.

Their prices are cheap now on Apple Watch straps and bands, but they weren't always like that. They go down with the unit amount they have in stock and how old they are. Also they do go back up again sometimes on popularity.

The light brown leather loop I bought from them last month was still sealed in the paper box. I think I posted a couple of pictures in this thread last month.

Can you purchase if in the states?

Prices seem more expensive than the UK. Other member post was correct in that prices can go up as well as down. When the Apple Watch was released they were buying it in from customers for more than it cost to buy one from Apple - due to demand. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for two bands right now.

Just ordered the blue sport band from CEX, £5 but charged £2.50 shipping which is a bit of a rip off, beats paying Apple prices though.

Hopefully it will be new sealed like some peoples in this thread!

I think it's pretty reasonable, it's posted 1st class recorded which costs nearly £2 on it's own. It's a flat fee. The leather loop and Milanese loop I bought was sent Special Delivery which costs a minimum of £5.50 but was still charged £2.50.

It's not guaranteed that'll be sealed, but it should come in it's paper box etc. From experience grade b items are brand new without a box or used in excellent condition without a box.

It's all ready been dispatched so can't fault the speed of the service, will be very happy if it arrives tomorrow! I know there is a 50/50 chance it'll be sealed or opened but as long as it LOOKS brand new (A Grade) I don't mind.

I almost pulled the trigger on a "grade A" link bracelet from them for $285. Seems like a great deal. But then I decided to google CEX to find out what people's experiences were with this company, which I have never heard of until reading about them here today. Unfortunately, there are a lot of unhappy CEX customers out there. Most of the issues people had were: long delays in receiving items, having an extremely hard time communicating with customer service to get an issue resolved, etc. I saw at least one report of a person receiving an 'off-brand' item instead of the name brand.

Are we talking about the same company here? This is a bummer because I've been debating a link bracelet purchase for some time, and this was enough savings to make me ready to buy it on impulse.

Not sure about CEX in general but the local 2 shops near me would never sell you "off-brand" items while advertising it as the genuine brand. They have to scan everything in and out with the barcodes on the boxes/items.

I have to admit contacting their customer services can be tricky. They do not have a number to call, everything is done via email, which can lead to delays.

Never had any issues with them either via their stores or buying though their website. I've purchased 5 Apple Watch straps all have been perfect, dispatched and arrived quickly. The higher valued ones like the Leather Loops etc are shipped by insured next day delivery.

I think they ask customers to allow five days for shipping. But how long ago did you place the order? The complaints I saw were for delays in processing the order.

I ordered 7th and it shipped the 7th so I know it's now down to Royal Mail to actually deliver the strap, if it's not here by Friday I'll contact someone at CEX.

It's my first online order (bought and sold in store hundreds of times) and it has put me off, I'm spoiled by Amazon Prime.

So the stores will provide support to an order placed on their website? There is one within two hours of my house.

Checked on the US version, and the terms are different to the UK - https://us.webuy.com/support/wesellhelp.php

Yeah I know that feeling!

Ordered the A quality versions of the 42mm link and leather loops, ordered on the 6th and delivered by the 8th. Excellent speed!
