I am a PAID Macintosh developer and iPhone developer. I found it very funny that at WWDC when I asked any question in a lab or conference relating to developing software on the iPhone that talked directly to the iPhone's Baseband/radio, I was told to basically "F" off in a polite way.

How is that funny? I would think it would be expected that they don't want to address unsupported "access".

Why do you wonder? Do you think they let you do everything with the iphone? The same would happen in JavaME...

And why is it important that you are a PAID developer?
