I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I'd rather look dumb than remain ignorant.

Just moving to Mac from PC.
In the PC it was possible to highlight multiple files, right-click on these files and drag them to another folder or disk. I haven't been able to do this with the Mac.

Surely I am missing something. I can highlight multiple files, but when I attempt to drag the group, only one file moves.

highlight by left clicking and holding the mouse button down, drag cursor over files you want (see pic)...

then, click one highlighted file and drag to where you want the files... option click while dragging to move copies to new location and leave originals in their place.

Found the problem. The explanation would just make me feel more foolish than I already do.
