I've had my powermac over a year now but just now became a two mac man and am trying to figure out how to share 2nd HDD on my powermac so i can see, edit and use the files on my powerbook. I am behind a dlink router and am just wondering what i have to turn on to do it. In windows i just have to share the drive....but i cant seem to figure it out on the mac.

Assuming you have Jag, just make apple talk active: System Preferences‡ Network ‡ Apple Talk. Or System Preferences‡ Sharing ‡ and then select personal file sharing.
And then in Finder, hit cmd+k to connect to the other computer!!

Yes, just make sure AppleTalk and File Sharing is being enabled on the computers you want to edi/exchange files with. Also make sure the Ethernet port is selected, you don't want to select "Internal Modem" by mistake. Then in the Finder press Command (apple) and K to make the "Connect to Server..." Widnows open. Once open just select your Hard Drive from the list. :D
