I´ve been using for a more than a decade a couple of Tannoy bookshelf speakers to monitor sound from my editing systems and I do not intend to switch since the cleanliness of the sound and the separation of frecuencies make it perfect as studio monitors. I am using now a sonic impact amplifier, that works pretty well. Nevertheles, sometimes I need more bass that these speakers can not deliver. I am wondering if I can put in there an amplified bass and what the connections would be. I gess the easiest way is to put a Y at the mini out of the Macbook Pro and to use one end for the Tannoy and the other for the amplified bass. Any recommendation for a small realiable bass speaker?
