I have a Bassjump 1 (the hardware is the same as the 2) that I used with my Macbook Pro 13" 2009. For some reason, using the Bassjump 2 software, the BJ software cannot find my module. OS X can see it because it is listed as a Sound Output device, but the actual Bassjump Preference pane still shows that the module is disconnected. Can someone help me with this issue? The USB ports all are functional.

Contact their support, I have talked to them and they responded very fast and were helpful.

Have you solved the problem?

I'd like to dig this up to ask if anyone has had the same issue, and what they did to solve it.

The BassJump works just fine on my old MBP, but it's just not recognized on my new rMBP.

Hey dylan did you ever find a solution to rMBP bassjump issue because I just encountered that problem today. I downloaded the software but the speaker was not working

Yes. I have no idea why, but downloading this program called Boom and running it fixed the issue permanently, even after I uninstalled Boom. I have no explanation for this, and it's quite odd, but it did fix it.

Hope it works for you!

Download the trial of Boom here:http://www.globaldelight.com/boom/index.php
