I've got several .avi's that I moved over to my new PB. I'm wanting to convert them to .dv files using Quick Time Pro. I know that I can do them individually but am looking for a way to batch convert them.

I found some applets and droplets at Apple
but the droplet named "Convert to DV Stream" doesn't work. It looks like it's creating a temp folder on my desktop, sending it to the trash, and then emptying the trash.

So, does anyone have a way to accomplish a mass conversion or does anyone have any insight into why the droplet might not be working.

Thanks in advance.

Try searching for some apps on Versiontracker.com that will do the conversions. There are a lot of great 3rd party developers out there that write little programs that will do just what you're looking for.

As for the droplet not working, it probably is finding some weird anomalies in the files or doesn't recognize them and says they can't be converted.
