is there a way for me to do a batch name change of photo titles.

here is a for instance:

i would like to change a bunch of names from something like DC103810381 to
JillSeniorPictures0001 thru
JillSeniorPictures0034 or something like that. is this possible. Let me know if this isnt clear.

It's possible through Automator but I'm not quite sure how >_> Someone will know though - or you can just play around with it.

Yeah Automator is one way to do it, another way is to use GraphicConverter. Either way with Automator here is how:

Finder: Get selected Finder items.
Finder: Rename Finder Items (make sure under the options tab in this box that you select "Show Option When Run")
Save as a Plug-In for the Finder.

Now you will go into the Finder and select all of the photos you want to batch re-name and cntl-Click (right-click) and go to the Automator Menu>"Your Saved Automator" and select it.

Wait a moment and the window for file rename will come up.
Choose: Make Sequential>New Name "enter Name" (Pretty self-explanatory).

This all looks like a lot, but it is real easy and you will be glad you got your hands dirty with Automator cause it is a great program. If you have any problems let me know cause I like using Automator and can help.
